So Mike and I bought and cancelled the purchase of a time share this past weekend. It got me thinking. Companies have mission statements and guiding principles that help them measure the appropriateness of each decision. Our family does not have a mission statement or guiding principles. I thought I would wait to start this blog til I had a statement with which to judge our decisions, but I am coming up blank. So, instead of a statement, this is where I want to write our intentions. At least the near future intentions. We'll see from there where God leads.
- Mike and I plan to go to Uganda this year & somehow work with comeletsdance.org
- We would like to try getting pregnant (and all that it entails) this fall
- We would like to start the adoption paperwork for a child from Uganda next year
- I plan on doing 3 triathlons this year including an Olympic length and some mt. bike races
- Spend lots of time with Joseph & Luke- they are so cool!
That's it. That's my first blog. Intentions. We'll see how it all goes.
